- 1 can (2 layers) chocolate cake mix cooked according to directions on package
- 1 box cherry pie filling
- 1 large container thawed cold whipped topping
- 1/2 cup optional shaved chocolate
Follow the directions to bake the cake.
Let cool down to room temperature.
Use the cold whisk that had been frozen to frost the first layer of cake.
Spread a thin layer of cherry pie filling on the crust.
Add the second cake and use the rest of the new whisk to finish the frosting.
If you want, add the hose’s edges.
Spread the rest of the cherry pie filling on the top of the cake.
If you want, you can sprinkle shaved chocolate on top.
Serve right away or put in the fridge to serve later.
Put them in the fridge.
You can use strawberry or apple filling instead of the one in this recipe.
